  •  Transportation

We uses small aircrafts which carries four, eight or sixteen passengers. The airstrips in the Suriname jungle are of grass hardened. Transportation on the roads are with busses carrying 20 passengers or smaller groups of 12 to 16 passengers. The roads are partly dirt and pavement. During visits to the interior the beautiful rivers are being navigated by dugout canoe driven by a strong outboard engine. The Piaka, a slightly wider boat used by the indigenous peoples is also being used.
